Sheinelle Jones

Sheinelle Marie Jones (born, 1978) is an American journalist and news anchor working for NBC News. She is the news anchor for ''Weekend Today'' and a correspondent for all platforms of NBC News. She is also a fill-in co-anchor and Orange Room anchor on Today on weekdays and weekends.
==Education and Early life==
Jones was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of U.S. District Court Judge C. Darnell Jones II and Sheila Kinnard.
She attended Wichita Brooks Middle Magnet School, Wichita Heights High School, both in Wichita, Kansas, and Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Her first broadcast job was in Springfield, Illinois〔 for WICS-TV.
Before going to work for NBC, Jones worked at KOKI-TV, the FOX affiliate in Tulsa, Oklahoma〔 and WTXF-TV the Fox affiliate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.〔 She was at the Philadelphia station for over nine years.〔
